Here at Primetics we understand the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility and we believe it is very beneficial to our company. 

Why is it important to us?

Corporate Social Responsibility is our way of giving back to society, and this is something very important to us. Giving back to the community is a very positive and rewarding experience that we love to be involved in, but it also helps us to represent our values as a company.

Other reasons why this is important to us:

• Customer EngagementWe like to let our customers know that we are getting involved in charity work and non-profit organisations, via our social media channels and also our blog. By letting our customers know, we hope they will see that we are committed to helping others and will encourage them to engage with us more and maybe follow in our footsteps!

• Employee EngagementIt is proven that employees enjoy working in a company that has a positive image in the public eye, and working to maintain that image will help to keep employee engagement going. Giving our employees the opportunity to engage with charities and non-profit organisations will improve their engagement in the workplace. The engagement with a charity is a very rewarding experience. We want our employees to be proud to work here.

What are we doing?

At Primetics, we are getting stuck in and raising funds for two very worthy charities that have been chosen from our staff here. Both charities have provided vital support and understanding around Mental Health and Autism awareness.

The charities mean a lot to our team, and our way of saying thank you is by raising funds and building awareness around both worthy causes.

Who are Mind?

“We’re Mind, the mental health charity.”

“We provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. We campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. We won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect.”

Mind is a fantastic charity that is close to our hearts, as mental health can affect all of our team at various times in their lives.  Because of Mind, millions more people have access to advice and support and with the help of the charity, more awareness is being raised to promote the understanding.

Who are Action ASD?

“Our Autism Resource Centre (ARC) is the only specialist provision in the East Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen area offering support services, respite and leisure and recreational opportunities for children, young people and adults with an Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC).

Action for ASD has been successful in developing a number of different services and projects and can offer a comprehensive support framework from pre diagnosis and beyond for both children and adults. The group has a strong membership from individuals with a diagnosis of ASC, their families, carers and members of the professional network in the East Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen area (Adults services).

With the right support people with Autism can live meaningful and productive lives. Action for ASD strives to provide such support”

We have chose Action ASD as our other charity to raise funds for because the charity has provided fantastic support to our team and their families, and we are very supportive of the work that they do. This is our way of saying thank you.

We are very excited to get things going with our fundraising, we have some fantastic ideas that our staff have thought of that will hopefully get those funds in! We hope you will dig deep and help us to reach our targets!

Our group are going to ‘Pay It Forward’ by matching the funds that we have raised, helping us to donate a generous amount to both of our worthy charities!
